'Tis finally the season!

After over 650 festive knits it was time to close the orders for the year. I've been absolutely blown away by the interest and support in my small business this year, I appreciate every single interaction, no matter how big or small it was.

I ended December at the Blewbury Crafters Market, another busy event full of lovely independent businesses and enthusiastic customers.

I will be reopening on Monday 9th January 2023. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a very happy New Year! See you all soon x

All the fun of the (craft) fairs!

It's been so much fun to meet so many of you out and about this month!

I've had the pleasure of attending the Didcot Craft and Gift Fair at the Civic Hall, and the Festive Market at Ladygrove School in November. Both were a lot busier than I had anticipated and I had quite a few sell out ranges - not the relaxing mornings out that I'd planned for!

I was thrilled to donate a selection of vintage cups and saucers for a coffee morning at the local care home. This one was to commemorate Remembrance Day and lent a sense of occasion to their get together to talk about the residents own experiences and memories.

There has been just enough time for a couple of new product launches in the last few weeks. New ranges of favour boxes and key fobs were trialled at the craft fairs, as both were very popular you can expect to see more of these next month!

Coffee mornings

It has been a real pleasure to donate so many coffee morning boxes to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support this year. Thank you to all of the groups that allowed me to sponsor their events and well done on your spectacular cake baking and hosting skills!

We had a hugely successful run on our autumnal party favours and sold out even earlier than last year. I'm looking forward to immersing myself in festive knits now while researching new Halloween designs for next year!

SEPT 22

Hey there pumpkin!

It's back to business at Oxford Tea Parties and we are in full on Halloween swing!

Our pumpkin party favours have proven super popular this season and we've added a new chunky knit stuffed pumpkin range for your Halloween decor.

We headed off to the local care home to help them raise funds for their Macmillan Coffee morning, a truly wonderful event made all the more special with some beautiful vintage china - thank you for inviting us to help!

AUG 22

Going slow

As most of you know, I juggle Oxford Tea Parties with the responsibility for two of the most wonderful small humans. This summer I've been taking a leaf out of Holly Tucker's #volumedownaugust initiative and using the quieter month to recharge, plan and enjoy a better work life balance.

July 22

'Tis the season... already?

July has seen the reusable range proving most popular thanks to the amazing weather we've been having. I've invested in some new sets to cater for bigger parties and some new table ware to add more options for food presentation, I'm excited for you to see it all!

We've said a couple of goodbyes this month to both the Crafters Emporium in Oxford and Oxford Etsy in Didcot. It's been wonderful working with you both and I'm excited to see what the future holds for us all - I'm so proud of the local small business community and know that we will all be achieving wonderful things in the not too distant future!

I've also noticed the start of the Christmas rush (yes, I know we're only in July!). We've had a record number of orders for Christmas Puddings already. We've got some new colour ways available this year in some of our festive ranges, be sure to check them out in the shop!

The end of July gave me the opportunity to get away to Cornwall and test out the local afternoon teas... all in the name of research of course...

June 22

Out and about

I was very pleased to be donating 5 boxes of vintage china to a local care home this month. They definitely celebrated the Queen's Jubilee in style!

It was also lovely to meet some of you at our drop in afternoon tea, hosted by the Etsy store in Didcot. Both myself and Donna from Sweet Daisy HQ enjoyed testing out the tea and cake before offering it to our visitors!

May 22
